NEW REQUEST:  We are praying for direction as we face the future.  Bookings have become a challenge in recent years.  Many churches will not have us on weeknights because they are embarrassed at the turnout; many churches no longer have Sunday night services.  Please pray that God will open the doors He wishes us to walk through. 

Michael is doing very well at public school and is involved with several sports teams.  He has proven himself to be a very trustworthy young man.  He works for a sporting goods store, drives to Portland for baseball instruction several times a week and still manages to make high honors at school.  It is very difficult to be away from him on our long tours. Please pray for his health, his mental and spiritual well-being as we continue our ministry.    

  1. God's continued anointing on this ministry.  Please pray for each concert that it will touch lives, be well-attended and meet our needs.

  2. For good health for our family.  As many of you on our mailing list knows, both Leo and I have had some serious medical issues this past year.  We are grateful that we are feeling better.  However, our finances have taken a huge hit.  Please pray that we will be able to meet our obligations and that we will continue to enjoy good health.

  3. Since Michael is no longer traveling with us, we have decided that we can manage with a van rather than our bus.  We are cramped for space, but it is much more economical.  Please pray that we will be able to find a buyer for our bus.  We have kept it well-maintained; it would be perfect for a part-time singing group or for a family.  We have never had the funds or know-how to redo the interior, but the possibilities are endless for an attractive coach.  We are also concerned because our van has 180,000 miles on it.  Again, we have tried to keep it well-maintained, but only God knows the future. 

  4. For a clear mind as I study for the concerts and particularly for the seminars.  For songwriting, too.

  5. For more bookings so that we can make wise use of our time when on tour; for more seminar opportunities as well.

  6. It is time for us to consider a new recording.  New material is vital to keep the concerts fresh and to give us a new product to sell.  Please pray for the Lord's leading in choosing the right songs and pray for the financing to make this possible.

  7. For spiritual covering for our family; for our older son David as he continues to search for answers; for Linda as she faces some serious challenges; for Michael as he begins his journey with our Lord; for Leo as head of our home and partner in ministry and for me.  We are grateful for new opportunities of ministry to our granddaughters, Christina, age 6, and Morgan, age 5.  I had the privilege of leading their other grandmother to the Lord the day before she died.  She had been their main babysitter their whole lives.  Now they stay often with us.  They are learning to pray before they go to sleep at night and are eager to go to church with me when we are home.  Michael has also taken them when we have been away.  Please pray for their eyes and hearts to be opened to our Lord.
