DIANE MUISE
Also I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send and who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I, Lord, Send me." And He said "Go." Isaiah 6: 8-9a
Diane accepted this as her life's verse as a young teenager and obeyed it when she answered the call to music ministry as a young adult. Since that time, she has joyfully communicated the Gospel message through testimony and song. Her outstanding, powerful voice is only one of her many gifts. She is a gifted songwriter and storyteller and she weaves her concerts as masterfully as a basket maker. She has a unique way of empathizing with her audience and it is not uncommon for the audience to be laughing one moment and getting teary the next. Invariably, they leave the concerts feeling refreshed, encouraged and strengthened.
The daughter of a minister, Diane accepted the Lord as her Saviour at the age of 12 in her home state of Georgia. After attending Tennessee Temple College she began traveling with a professional gospel trio called the Majestic Singers headquartered out of Rockaway, NJ. After the group dissolved, she married Maine native Leo Muise and adopted two children, David and Linda. In 1985 she resumed her music ministry with the full support of her family. In 1989, she gave birth to Michael who sang with Michael as a toddler. Leo is also a vital part of the ministry. He is business manager, bus driver, sound technician, and most important of all, prayer partner. Diane led Leo to the Lord on their first date and their years of marriage and ministry have been built on the strong foundation of their Christian faith.
